Nebraska Man Dies After Falling Out Of Boat On Becker Co. Lake
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – An Omaha, Neb. man died Sunday after falling out of a fishing boat on Many Point Lake in Becker County.
According to the Becker County Sheriff's Office, at 8:39 a.m. officers responded to a call of a fisherman, later identified as 67-year-old Terry Lee Ruch, who fell out of a boat and had not resurfaced.
Ruch was not wearing a life jacket.
Valley Water Rescue later recovered Ruch's body at 7:20 p.m.
Several agencies assisted the Becker County Sheriff's Office on the search.
