Disorderly Conduct Charges Dropped In Pedal Pub Ambush
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Disorderly conduct charges have been dropped in last month's water gun ambush of a pedal pub that was being used by off-duty police officers.
The lawyer for Jason Leonard Carlton said that his client had just had his charge dismissed in the May 23 incident, and that charges had been dismissed for some of his other clients.
Court records show that Mark William Dean, Kurtis Wayne Johnson and Francis Wayne Bellanger also had their disorderly conduct charges dropped.
Overall, six men were arrested after a group of men allegedly attacked a pedal pub with water balloons and squirt guns.
Some of the passengers were off-duty Burnsville police officers, who held down the assailants until Minneapolis officers arrived.
Charges against John Davis Rock Jr. stemming from the incident are still pending. He previously pled not guilty to disorderly conduct and fifth-degree assault.
The sixth man police say was involved has not yet been charged.
No one was seriously injured in the incident.
