'Prairie Home Companion' Returns To Macalester For 41st Anniversary Show

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Garrison Keillor will celebrate the 41st anniversary of "A Prairie Home Companion" Saturday with a live broadcast from St. Paul's Macalester College.

Keillor will host his public radio show outdoors on Macalester's Great Lawn, just as he did last year.

"A Prairie Home Companion" was first broadcast from the college July 6, 1974.
