Timberwolves Agree To Terms With Euroleague MVP Bjelica

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -- The Minnesota Timberwolves have agreed to terms with Euroleague MVP Nemanja Bjelica on a three-year contract.

Bjelica issued a statement on Monday saying he was excited to announce that he would be leaving his team in Turkey to come and play for the Timberwolves.

A person with direct knowledge of the agreement tells The Associated Press Bjelica will get just under $12 million for the three-year deal. The person spoke on condition of anonymity because the deal has not been announced.

The 27-year-old Bjelica was a second-round draft pick of the Wolves in 2010.

He averaged 11.9 points and 8.6 rebounds for Fenerbache last season.
