2 Killed In Kandiyohi County Crash Identified
MAMRE TOWNSHIP, Minn. (AP/WCCO) — Sheriff's deputies in Kandiyohi County are investigating a deadly crash.
Authorities say two people died and a third was injured when two vehicles collided about 9 p.m. Sunday at an intersection north of Pennock in Mamre Township.
The driver of one of the vehicles was pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger in the same vehicle died at Rice Hospital. The driver of the second vehicle was taken to the same hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
On Monday afternoon, the sheriff's office identified the deceased victims as 75-year-old Mildred Frank and 76-year-old David Frank, both of rural Pennock.
The driver of the other vehicle is identified as 40-year-old Matthew Gingery of Montana. He has since been released from the hospital.
