Child Welfare In Minnesota

Minnesota took the top spot for overall child well-being -- the first non-New England state to do so in over a decade.

A major drop in the number of children who died in car crashes, homicides, cancer put Minnesota over the top. Minnesota typically is in the top ten.

The study by the Annie E. Casey Foundation did find that as a nation, more children live in poverty now than during the recession.

Garrison Keillor Retiring

Garrison Keillor will in fact say goodbye to Lake Wobegon.

Keillor has hinted at retirement before, but this time 'The Prairie Home Companion' host says he's serious.

He has set up sometime-guest host Chris Thile to take over as host after Keillor's last show in July 2016.

Thile, a mandolin player, will carry on the show's musical heritage.

Jet.com

Shoppers have to spend $50 a year for a membership.

The average savings on Jet.com are 10 to 15 percent.

Attempted Largest Pillow Fight

The St. Paul Saints are looking to set a new Guinness World Record for the largest pillow fight. On Tuesday night, 8,000 pillows will be given out to fans..

Actor Stephen Baldwin -- you loved him as Barney Rubble in The Flintstones in Viva Rock Vegas -- will get the feathers flying at the end of the second inning.

The world record right now is 4,201 participants at a pillow fight in South Dakota last year.
