It's hard to believe so much time has passed, but the Pizza Luce Block Party is back for its 12th year! And, like years passed, this year is packing in a bunch of talent.

The lineup includes Rogue Valley, L'Assassins, Tiny Deaths, Frankie Teardrop, Pink Mink, The Blind Shake, Retribution Gospel Choir, Sims, Mike Mictlan, and the headliner – Har Mar Superstar.

It all begins around noon. Oh, and free admission. No biggie.

Saturday: Lowertown Guitar Festival – St. Paul

A favorite instrument will be taking center stage this Saturday in St. Paul.

That's when McNally Smith College of Music will be presenting the third annual Lowertown Guitar Festival at Mears Park.

This one is a little different then some festivals. Instead of focusing on a specific music genre, the festival celebrates the instrument and the unique artists from coast to coast that play the guitar. And it's free!

On Wednesday, we talked with local singer-songwriter and guitar player Molly Maher, who told us more about the festival. Watch the video below for more!

Sunday: Summer Jam @ Minnesota Music Café – St. Paul

To wrap up the weekend, the Minnesota Music Café will be hosting a full day of music, which will feature the Wee Willie Walker Band, Mary Elias, The School Of Rock, We-R with Maurice Jacox, Chris Lawrence Band, The Not Guilty Band and much, much more.

You get all of this for only $10. Not bad at all. So, come out, eat and dance like Monday will never come!

Have a great weekend!

And again, thanks to local music guru, Katie Wohlers, for providing assistance with this post!
