14-Year-Old Mankato Girl Dead In Tractor Crash

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) - A 14-year-old Mankato girl is dead after the John Deere tractor she was riding hit a bump in the roadway and went into a ditch.

Madison A. Mendenhall died in the crash around 10:40 p.m. Thursday in Nicollet County, near Highway 99.

She was the tractor's passenger; the driver, a 16-year-old boy suffered non-life threatening injuries.
