Suspicious Package Reported At Palmer's Dental Office Is Flowers

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A suspicious package sent to Dr. Walter Palmer's dental office in Bloomington Friday afternoon turned out to be flowers, according to the Bloomington Police Department.

Police said, at 12:15 p.m. officers responded to a call of a suspicious package at River Bluff Dental, located in the 10800 block of Rhode Island Avenue.

Upon arrival, officers found a sealed, medium-sized shipping container near the front entrance.

Police made attempts to contact River Bluff employees but could not reach anyone.

The Bloomington Police Department Bomb Squad was then called in to inspect the package. They found it contained flowers.

No harmful or hazardous materials were found.

The scene was declared clear at 1:19 p.m.
