Timberwolves Release 2015-16 Regular Season Schedule
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The Minnesota Timberwolves 2015-16 regular season schedule was announced early Thursday night, and they'll start a highly-anticipated year on the road.
The Timberwolves will open the regular season at the L.A. Lakers on Wednesday, Oct. 28. It's a match-up of No. 1 overall pick Karl-Anthony Towns and No. 2 pick D'Angelo Russell. It's also one of 12 nationally-televised games featuring the Timberwolves this season.
The Timberwolves' home opener is scheduled for 7 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 2, against the Portland Trail Blazers. The Timberwolves will have a pair of four-game homestands this year. The first is set for Dec. 1-9, highlighted by a game against the Los Angeles Clippers on Dec. 7.
The second homestand is from Jan. 6-12 and is highlighted by a Jan. 8 visit from LeBron James, Kevin Love and the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Individual game tickets will go on sale on Monday, Aug. 17.
