Kylie's Kids: Update On Jojo
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- We have some of the best Children's Hospitals in the country right here in the Twin Cities.
Each Monday, we like to share some the remarkable stories of the patients, and once in a while offer some special updates. Take Jojo, who we first visited last spring. She is at Masonic Children's from South Dakota, fighting Pleuropulmonary Blastoma, a rare type of lung cancer, for the second time.
Jojo's time in Minnesota has been pretty busy. She had a chance to shadow a vet for a day. She loved helping take care of the animals.
She also got a huge surprise last month when she had a chance to not only see One Direction when they were here in Minneapolis, but also got to meet them. She even got a big hug from Harry Styles.
She spent that whole week leading up to the concert in the hospital with a heart tap, was able to leave for the concert and was back in the hospital the next morning for chemo.
Her mom says she is one happy girl. WCCO wishes her the best as she continues her fight.
