Timberwolves Announce 2015 Preseason Schedule

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The Minnesota Timberwolves announced their 2015 preseason schedule on Tuesday and it includes two games at Target Center.

The Timberwolves will play seven games from Oct. 7-23 before the season starts for real on Oct. 28 in Los Angeles against the Lakers. Minnesota will open its preseason schedule at 7 p.m. on Oct. 7 against the Oklahoma City Thunder at Target Center.

The Timbewolves other preseason home game is the last one, Oct. 23 against the Milwaukee Bucks. Minnesota will play the Bucks and the Toronto Raptors twice. The Timberwolves will also face the Chicago Bulls as part of a showcase in Canada.

It's a highly-anticipated season for Minnesota as Andrew Wiggins and Zach LaVine enter their second seasons. The Timberwolves are also hoping for big things out of No. 1 overall pick Karl-Anthony Towns and Minnesota native Tyus Jones. They've also added Euroleague MVP Nemanja Bjelica and acquired Tayshaun Prince.

Oct. 7 - Oklahoma City Thunder, 7 p.m. (Target Center)

Oct. 10 - Chicago Bulls, 7 p.m. (MTS Centre, Winnipeg)

Oct. 12 - at Toronto Raptors, 6:30 p.m.

Oct. 14 - Toronto Raptors, 6 p.m. (Canadian Tire Centre, Ottawa)

Oct. 18 - at Memphis Grizzlies, 5 p.m.

Oct. 20 - Milwaukee Bucks, 7 p.m. (Kohl Center)

Oct. 23 - Milwaukee Bucks, 7 p.m. (Target Center)
