MnDOT/WisDOT: St. Croix Bridge Project Will Not Be Completed On Schedule
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The Minnesota and Wisconsin Departments of Transportation announced Friday that the new bridge linking Stillwater to Hudson will not be completed on schedule in the Fall of 2016.
St. Croix Crossing Project Manager Michael Beer says the structure involves some very complex engineering that is simply taking more time than originally thought:
Beer says construction will continue into 2017 and they don't yet know when it will be done. It's also unclear if the cost of the project will increase due to the delay.
