Lynx Host L.A. Sparks Sept. 18 In Western Conference Semifinals
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The Minnesota Lynx announced Thursday they'll open the WNBA Playoffs against the Los Angeles Sparks.
The Lynx will host the Sparks in Game 1 of the Western Conference Semifinals at 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 18. Game 2 of the series will be in L.A. at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 20, and Game 3 will be back in Minneapolis on Tuesday. Sept. 22. A time for Game 3 has not been determined.
The Lynx faced the Sparks four times in the regular season, winning three times. With one game left in the regular season, the Lynx are 22-11 and with the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference will have home field advantage throughout the playoffs.
