MDH: Salmonella Cases Linked To Chipotle Restaurants In Minnesota

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- State health leaders say Chipotle restaurants are the source of a salmonella outbreak that caused more than four dozen people to get sick.

Most of the 17 restaurant locations are in the Twin Cities, and restaurants in St. Cloud and Rochester were included as well.

Five people were treated at the hospital.

Since salmonella symptoms are similar to the stomach bug, the health department says it's possible more people were sick. They're still trying to determine which menu item caused the outbreak.

The Chipotle locations involved to date are listed below. However, health officials also say it's possible that other locations in Minnesota could have been affected.
