Sherburne County Sgt. On Unpaid Leave In Domestic Assault Case
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) - A sergeant with the Sherburne County Sheriff's Office is on unpaid administrative leave as authorities investigate a domestic assault allegation.
On Wednesday, Sgt. Paul Behl was issued a misdemeanor citation for fifth-degree domestic assault. An additional fifth-degree charge of domestic assault with intent to cause fear was added in court on Thursday.
Stearns County is investigating the domestic dispute, which happened on Tuesday and involved a "physical altercation."
