Lupus Foundation Of Minnesota Hosts 5K Hope Walk

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – It's going to be a beautiful weekend, so why not get outside and get some exercise?

And this weekend while getting your exercise in you can also help benefit a local foundation.

The Lupus Foundation of Minnesota is hosting a walk on Saturday, Sept. 19.

The 18th annual Lupus Walk for Hope & 5K Trail Run will take place from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at French Regional Park in Plymouth.

The money raised from this walk will help fund research, awareness and support for those diagnosed with Lupus.

Ashley Albertson, the 2015 ambassador of the Lupus Foundation, joined WCCO to discuss the walk and how you can help.
