The Minneapolis Fire Department said it responded around 11 a.m. to a fire on the first floor of a home on the 3400 block of 4th Street North.

Firefighters knocked down the flames within minutes and searched the house.

Officials said one person was hospitalized for possible smoke inhalation, but no others were injured.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
