The Driftwood Char Bar is shutting Nicollet Avenue down (well, part of it, 4415 Nicollet) and throwing a stage right in the darn street in front of the bar!

There, you can enjoy five bands, food, beer and wine. You can watch the bands for free, but the other stuff you gotta pay for, of course.

The performances, which start at noon, include One Hit Wonder Band, James Loney and Lolo's Ghost, Mayfield, Audra & The New Black and the Rudegirls/Clash Tribute Band. At 5 p.m., music moves inside with Frogleg/Joe Dunn & Demitri Rallis. Then Bog Doctors and Shotgun Ragtime Band top off the night!
