Sheriff: Man Injured by 1-Ton Bull In Stearns Co.

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A 73-year-old man was injured by a 2,300-pound bull while trying to load him into a cattle trailer Thursday afternoon in Stearns County.

David Hartwig was hurt while loading the bull from the chute at Central Live Stock in Albany Township at about 1:20 p.m., according to the Stearns County Sheriff's Office.

He was taken to Albany Area Hospital after the accident. The extent of his injuries has not been released.
