Kylie's Kids Update: Ireland's Progress

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- This week's Kylie's Kid, Ireland, is a spunky 7-year-old from St. Louis Park, who we introduced you to in April.

She loves to sing and dance, which is great because she wants to be a world-famous rock star when she grows up.

Ireland has been in and out of the hospital since she was born because of a congenital heart defect.

Ireland has been in Chicago waiting for a new heart. She's now been in the hospital 260 days and on the transplant list for 166.

Her mom says she's doing well and has been stable. She says for the most part she is her usual happy personality.

They're doing music and art therapy every week and they go on lots of walks to keep up her strength.
