Search Resumes For Missing 23-Year-Old Monticello Man

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Search efforts resumed Tuesday morning in an effort to try and find a man from Monticello who hasn't been seen since early Saturday morning.

Volunteers, including his own family, started searching the area near where he was reported missing Monday morning. Dozens of volunteers are back out Tuesday morning, and a $10,000 reward is being offered for information leading to Brunn's whereabouts. (Click here for more information on the search efforts.)

Over the last two days, the search effort covered about 10 square miles. Along with the cornfields to the north of the hotel, crews also looked to the south. Law enforcement also traveled Highway 39 to Monticello where Joe lives. Wright County Sheriff's deputies also started searching in nearby neighborhoods.

Law enforcement officials do not believe anyone is involved in Joe's disappearance. He was last seen wearing a light grey dress shirt and black pants.

fund has been set up to help pay for supplies and food for volunteers helping with the search.

Authorities have also been searching the nearby Mississippi River, but volunteers have been asked not to interfere with that. Anyone with information on Brunn's whereabouts is asked to call the Wright County Sheriff's Office at (763) 682-1162.
