With Dry October, 7 Percent Of State In Drought

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Rain is in the forecast for most of Minnesota on Friday, and it couldn't come at a better time.

It's been a dry October, so dry that about seven percent of Minnesota is in a drought. About another 34 percent is abnormally dry.

It's the driest conditions we've had in the Twin Cities since June.
