4 Things To Know For Nov. 1, 2015

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Here's a look at the four things you need to know for Nov. 1, 2015.

Number One: November Warm-Up

A warming trend is underway, according to WCCO forecaster Kylie Bearse.

The highs from Sunday to Thursday look to be in the upper 60s, with a shot at 70 coming on Thursday.

We might even see a Top 10 Weather Day.

Number Two: Daylight Saving Time

At 2 a.m. Sunday, it was time to turn your clocks back one hour to standard time.

Daylight saving time next returns on March 13.

Residents of Hawaii, most of Arizona and some U.S. territories don't have to change their clocks.

Daylight saving time is not observed in those places.

Public safety officials also say daylight saving time is a good time to put new batteries in your smoke alarms.

Number Three: Heartbreaking Defeat

The Gophers went for the win against the Wolverines on Saturday.

But it didn't work out.

The Gophers lost 29 to 26.

This was the first game that Tracy Claeys was the interim head coach after coach Jerry Kill resigned last week for medical reasons.

Number Four: Vikings Vs. Bears

The Vikings take on Chicago in the Windy City at noon.

The Vikings 4-2 season. The Bears are just the opposite, 2-4.
