SharkNinja Recalls Over 1M Blenders Over Blade Concerns

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – More than one million SharkNinja blenders are being recalled.

SharkNinja has issued the recall due to concerns over the blade. The manufacturer said the blade can come loose and cut users as they food out of the blender.

The recall involves 12 versions with various model numbers.

The SharkNinja was sold at several major retailers including Target, Costco, Macy's and Walmart between March of 2012 and September of this year.

There have been 53 reports of cuts.
