Cities 97 Sampler Vol. 27 To Be Released Tuesday
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – It's that time of year again; the time of year that Minnesotans regard with anticipation and excitement – the release of the Cities 97 Sampler CD.
Beginning at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 17, the Cities 97 Sampler Vol. 27 will be available for purchase at Target stores across the metro.
This year's sampler features 17 tracks. Each track was recorded live in Studio C or during a concert.

A release party for the sampler will be held Thursday, Nov. 19 at the Myth in St. Paul. Doors open at 6 p.m. and music will begin at 7 p.m. The show will include performances by ZZ Ward, A Great Big World, Gavin James and more.
This is a closed event to radio winners and invited guests only.
Copies cost $22.97. Only 30,000 copies will be sold and purchases are limited to two samplers per person.
Proceeds from the samplers go to a number of local charities and nonprofits. Institutions that were recipients in the past include the Animal Human Society, East Side Learning, Second Harvest Heartland, HOPE Coalition, Metro Meals On Wheels, YouthLink and more.
For 2015, $1 will go to Children's Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota.
