2nd Victim In South Minneapolis Shooting Dies

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The second victim in an early Monday morning shooting in South Minneapolis has died.

Police were on routine patrol when they heard shots just before 2 a.m. Monday on the 2800 block of South 15th Avenue. They found a man and a woman inside a vehicle on South 15th Avenue.

The man was dead, and the woman -- who appeared to be a passenger in the car -- was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center. On Tuesday afternoon, police reported that she had died late Monday night.

Police say the suspect was gone when they arrived on the scene.

Neither victim has been identified.
