MADD Holds Vigil For Victims In Drunk Driving Crashes
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Victims of drunk driving crashes are being remembered on Sunday.
Mothers Against Drunk Driving Minnesota held its annual candlelight vigil inside the Woman's Club of Minneapolis Sunday afternoon. Organizers hope the event brings awareness to a completely preventable crime.
MADD says on average, someone is killed in a drunk driving crash every 51 minutes and someone is injured every 120 seconds. Two out of three people will be involved in a drunk driving crash sometime in their lives.
