4 Things To Know For Dec. 27, 2015

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Here's a look at the four things you need to know for Dec. 27, 2015.

Number One: Deadly Crash In Aitkin County

Four people are dead and three others hurt after a crash on an icy road.

It happened around 3 p.m. Saturday on Highway 65 near McGrath in Aitkin County.

The State Patrol says a Mazda SUV was heading south when the driver lost control on the wet and snow-packed road.

The vehicle went sideways into the northbound lane and hit an on-coming Chevy Suburban.

All four people in the Mazda died. Three others in the Suburban were seriously injured.

Number Two: Stray Bullet Kills Mother In Chicago Police Shooting

A police-involved shooting in Chicago left two people dead Saturday, including a mother of five who was killed by a stray bullet.

Police were responding to a domestic incident and say they were confronted by a combative person, 19-year-old Quintonio LeGrier.

Police shot and killed him.

Police say they accidentally shot 55-year-old Bettie Jones. Her daughter said she was killed when she opened the door.

Number 3: Deadly Tornadoes Rip Through Texas

At least eight people died Saturday night when several tornadoes hit Texas. The twisters touched down near Dallas.

A TV station gave a very preliminary count of 11 tornadoes.

Five of the victims died in vehicles when a tornado hit the intersection of two major highways.

The Collin County Sheriff's Office says an infant died in the town of Blue Ridge and two other people died in Copeville.

Number Four: Big Game For The Vikings

The team takes on the New York Giants at TCF Bank Stadium.

This could be the last game the Vikings play at the outdoor stadium.

The Vikes still have the potential to grab first place in the NFC North. They'd need to win the next two games and first place Green Bay would have to come up short.

Kickoff against the Giants is at 7:30 p.m.
