Ramsey Co. Deputy Finds Gunshot Victim On I-694
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The instincts of a Ramsey County Sheriff's deputy led to the discovery of a gunshot victim on Interstate 694 early New Year's Day morning.
The sheriff's office says a deputy was driving eastbound on I-694 at about 12:40 a.m. when the vehicle in front of them suddenly pulled over.
The deputy had to circle around, but when they returned they found a man who had been shot several times.
The victim was taken to a local hospital where they were treated for non-life threatening injuries.
The sheriff's office does not believe there is a public-safety risk connected to this shooting, and they are asking for anyone with information to call 651-266-7320.
