Hearing Monday For How MSP Airport Should Handle Uber

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Airport officials are looking for public input as they decide how to treat Uber-style companies at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport.

Uber drivers can currently be ticketed for dropping off travelers on airport property.

The airport is considering charging drivers a fee and treating them more like taxis. Insurance and background checks would also be required.

Monday's hearing starts at 6 p.m. at the Minneapolis Airport Marriott Hotel in Bloomington.
