Police Seek Suspect In Uptown Craigslist Robbery
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Police in Minneapolis are looking for the suspect who robbed a man when responding to a Craigslist ad.
On Jan. 14, a Minnesota man was attempting to sell his BMW in Uptown. The victim said a potential buyer pepper sprayed him and stole the car.
Police are still looking for the car and the attacker. The victim is offering $500 if he gets it back and the robber is arrested.
Experts say any transaction that starts online should take place someplace safe.
The Hennepin County Sheriff's Department, for example, has swap spots that are monitored.
