Move Over Spoon & Cherry – A New Sculpture's Coming To Town
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The Minneapolis Sculpture Garden will soon have something new to crow about.
A giant, blue rooster piece called "Hahn/Cock" is just one of the sculptures moving into the Walker Art Center's outdoor gallery.
The New York Times says the 20-foot-tall rooster could eclipse the famous "Spoonbridge and Cherry" as the center of attention.
The Walker's garden is undergoing a makeover that will include sixteen new art pieces.
It is set to reopen in 2017. By the way, "Spoonbridge and Cherry" is not going anywhere.
