St. Paul Police Hold Job Fair

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The St. Paul Police Department is hiring.

They held a job fair Saturday in the hopes of finding people who are willing to protect and serve.

It was held at the Western District Department on North Hamline Avenue.

Applicants must be 21 years old and be licensed or eligible for a license as a police officer in Minnesota.

Officers work to prevent and control crime, regulate traffic, monitor neighborhood crime and provide emergency services, among other things.

Base salary begins at about $53,000 a year, and includes health insurance benefits.
