Man Sentenced For Killing Pediatric Cancer Nurse In DWI Crash
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A 22-year-old Inver Grove Heights man sentenced was Friday for the death of a Roseville woman last fall.
The Dakota County Attorney's Office says Nicholas Anthony Indehar pleaded guilty to one count of criminal vehicular homicide.
He was accused of speeding through a stop sign on the afternoon of Oct. 24, 2015, slamming into Kim Marie Caswell's van.
The criminal complaint says Caswell, a 42-year-old mother of three, was pushed into a utility pole by Indehar, which split in half and fell on top of her van.

Caswell, who was a pediatric cancer nurse, was later pronounced dead at the scene. Emergency crews had to wait for Xcel Energy to cut off power to the pole before they could reach her vehicle.
Witnesses say Indehar was driving about 50 mph in a 30-mph zone. They also said he got out of his vehicle after the crash and said, "Son of a b---h." He then denied to witnesses that he was the driver.
A nearly-empty bottle of rum was found behind the driver's seat in his vehicle.
Indehar was sentenced to more than four years in prison, and he was ordered to pay in restitution.
