Sheriff: Blue Earth County Deaths Are Likely Murder-Suicide

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Authorities say the deaths of a man and a woman in a Good Thunder home are likely a murder-suicide.

The Blue Earth County Sheriff's Department released preliminary autopsy results on Sunday. It says 48-year-old Kimberly Hernandez likely died from someone strangling her. Her husband, 60-year-old Charles Hernandez, also died of strangulation, but authorities believe he killed himself.

A family member found the bodies and called 911 shortly before 11 a.m. Friday.
