Wis. Man, Named Beezow Doo-Doo Zopittybop-Bop-Bop, Accused Of Assaulting Cop & Deputy

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A Wisconsin man with a highly unusual name has been arrested again. This time, he's accused of assaulting a college officer and a deputy in Washington state.

Beezow Doo-doo Zopittybop-bop-bop, of Madison, was arrested Sunday.

According to the newspaper, The Olympian, he was allegedly seen tearing down fliers at the Evergreen State College, which resulted in a confrontation with a campus officer.

Zopittybop-bop-bop is accused of grabbing the officer's gun, biting the officer's ring finger several times and attempting to stab the officer with a pen, according to the newspaper.

After fleeing on foot, Zopittybop-bop-bop is also accused of assaulting a Thurston County deputy, who chased him into a wooded area. The deputy reportedly needed to use a Taser on Zopittybop-bop-bop, who was then arrested.

Zopittybop-bop-bop had reportedly legally changed his name in 2011. His arrest for drug possession in Madison in 2012 brought national attention to his name, which became fodder for TV anchors and late-night talk show hosts.
