Police: Man With Stab Wounds Rescued For Mpls. House Fire

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Minneapolis firefighters rescued a man from a fire early Saturday morning -- only to find he was suffering from stab wounds.

Crews were called to the 3100 block of Aldrich Avenue South just before 5 a.m.

They arrived to find a small fire inside the house and a younger man inside.

After getting the man outside and opening an airway, first responders said they discovered he had multiple stab wounds.

He was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center. No one else was found in the house.

Police are investigating.
