From Snow To Sunshine, Another Weather Swing's Ahead

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The phrase is that March comes in like a lion and leaves like a lamb, but we're getting the microcosmic representation of that throughout the next few days.

Snow started falling in the Twin Cities area before noon on Friday, and WCCO weather reporter Kylie Bearse said that a few areas were reporting some accumulation.

Mixed with the snow, though, were some raindrops as the front moved through the state. The line of snow should have moved out of the area by late afternoon to early evening, as the snowflakes likely turn into rain sprinkles.

Then the change starts to happen. Saturday should bring temperatures in the low 40s, with some glimpses of sunshine as a preview of coming attractions.

Sunday should have mostly sunny skies and highs in the low 50s. Temperatures should still hover in unseasonably warm mid-50s on Monday and Tuesday, albeit with the chance for rain or possibly even a stray thunderstorm.
