Former Eagles Member Don Henley To Perform At Minnesota State Fair

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A taste of California is coming to the Minnesota State Fair.

Singer, songwriter, drummer and founding member of the Eagles, Don Henley is kicking off the 2016 Grandstand Concert Series.

Henley wrote a number of the Eagles' hits, including "Hotel California," "Desperado," and "One Of These Nights."

After the Eagles stopped playing in 1980, Henley went on to have a successful solo career. He had several singles that received acclaim, such as "The Boys Of Summer," and "New York Minute."

Henley splits his time between performing with the Eagles and as a single act.

Henley will perform on opening day, August 25.

The show begins at 7:30 p.m. Tickets cost between $50 and $65. There is a four-ticket limit per order.
