Full Slate Of '90s Stars Coming To Target Center

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- To the extreme they rock a mic like a vandal, light up a stage and wax a chump like a candle, at least for one night at Target Center.

Vanilla Ice (best known for "Ice Ice Baby," misquoted above), Salt-N-Pepa, Coolio, Kid 'n Play, Rob Base and Young MC are all booked at the venue this October as part of the "I Love the '90s" concert tour.

They will be performing Saturday, October 22 at 7:30 p.m.

The list of nostalgia-inspiring hip-pop and R&B hits the artists could be expected to perform is formidable indeed:

-- Salt-N-Pepa: "Let's Talk About Sex," "Push It," "Shoop"
-- Coolio, "Gangsta's Paradise," "Fantastic Voyage," "1, 2, 3, 4 (Sumpin' New)"
-- Rob Base, "It Takes Two"
-- Young MC, "Bust a Move"
-- Kid 'n Play, "Funhouse," "Ain't Gonna Hurt Nobody"

Tickets go on sale on Friday, April 8, and will run anywhere from $29.50 to $200.
