Rosemount 5th Grader Found Safe After Search

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A missing Rosemount 5th grader was found safe after parents, educators and community members conducted a search when the boy didn't make it home from school.

The school principal posted to Facebook Wednesday night that the 10-year-old Rosemount Elementary student did not get on the bus home.

Searchers began looking near the school Wednesday evening. Police were working on the case as well.

Around 11 p.m. police said the boy was found safe.

Rosemount Police say the boy had been in trouble at school and was afraid to come home. He was reported safe and sound at home just after 10 p.m.
