Waseca Police Seek Help IDing Person Of Interest In Baseball Field Fire

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Police in Waseca are seeking the public's help locating an individual who was observed near Tink Larson Field the day before a fire destroyed the park.

According to the Waseca Police Department, a car was observed near Tink Larson field between 7:30 and 7:40 p.m. Wednesday, April 6.

The car was parked along 4th Street NE, near the steps that lead down to the concession stand and ticket booth. Police said the driver of the car was seen walking down the steps.

The driver was described as a man with medium build and dark clothes. The car is described as being medium sized, clean and a darker color.

Police reminded the public that they are only attempting to identify the individual so they can interview them. They hope this individual may have information that would help the State Fire Marshal in the ingestigation.
