Report: Costco Could Be Raising Membership Prices
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The price of being a Costco member may go up next year.
A UBS analyst predicts the warehouse giant may be planning a membership price hike of anywhere from $5 to $10.
The annual fee for a basic gold star membership is $55. The executive membership price is $110.
Analysts note Costco has historically increased its membership fee about every five to six years.
The company told CNN Money there have been no discussions regarding an increase to membership fees.
