Law Enforcement: Prince Had Painkillers When He Died

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Law enforcement sources tells CBS News that painkillers were discovered in Prince's possession after he was found dead last week.

CBS News says local law enforcement requested assistance from the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration to investigate if the medications were prescribed to Prince.

It is not known if the drugs in question played a role in the music icon's death.
