2 Teen Girls Injured In ATV Crash

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Two 14-year-old girls were taken to the hospital after their all-terrain vehicle overturned in St. Louis County.

The crash happened at the Highway 21 intersection with Waris Road in Embarrass Sunday afternoon.

Authorities didn't say why the ATV overturned, and didn't identify the two girls by name, but did say the driver was from Embarrass and the passenger was from Hayfield.

The driver was airlifted to Essentia Health in Duluth, and the passenger was taken to Essentia Health in Virginia.

Both sustained non-life threatening injuries.
