Police: Child, 3, Hospitalized After Near Drowning In Rogers

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Authorities say a 3-year-old girl is in the hospital after a near-drowning incident in Rogers Wednesday morning.

The Rogers Police Department was called to the scene on the 22900 block of 108th Avenue. The child's mother found the girl face down in a pond near their home. The mother was able to revive the child before emergency personnel arrived.

The child was taken to North Memorial Medical Center for treatment, and there has been no update on her condition.
