Sheriff: Prince Toxicology Testing Taking Longer Than Expected

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- It will still be another week or two before we learn just how Prince died.

The Carver County Sheriff's Office told USA Today Thursday that the additional testing by the Midwest Medical Examiner's Office is taking longer than normal.

Prince was found unresponsive in an elevator at Paisley Park in Chanhassen on April 21.

The investigation into his death is reportedly focusing on prescription painkillers.
