Police: 2 Boys Hit By Car, Injured In St. Paul

ST. PAUL, Minn. (WCCO) -- Authorities say two boys on a bike suffered non-life threatening injuries after they were hit by a car Sunday night in St. Paul.

The St. Paul Police Department responded to the incident on the 1200 block of Ross Avenue East early Sunday night. When officers arrived, two boys, ages 10 and 11, had been transported to Regions Hospital for injuries. The 10-year-old boy suffered a broken leg, and the 11-year-old boy had a head injury.

Police say the male driver who hit the two boys stayed on the scene and was fully cooperative with authorities. An initial investigation indicates that the two boys were on a bike together and came out of a driveway between two parked vehicles.

The driver was not able to stop in time.
