More Car Models Added To Takata Airbag Recall

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – More cars have been added to the list in the Toyota air bag recall.

The new recall now affects more than 1.5 million cars.

The model, makes and years on the recalled vehicles vary, with some going back as far as 2006.

It's all part of the Takata air bag inflator problem. The airbag inflators can explode metal fragments inside the car.

They've been linked to at least ten deaths so far.
